BERLIN (JTA) — Amid signs of growing anti-Semitism in Germany, a new Jewish educational center aimed at reaching both Jews and non-Jews is being built in Berlin.

“Much has been said about fighting anti-Semitism in Germany, and this is something tachles, this is something concrete,” Yehuda Teichtal, a rabbi in Berlin’s Jewish community and executive director of Chabad Lubavitch Berlin, said Tuesday announcing the June 10 groundbreaking ceremony for the Jewish center. Judy Zeidler’s Fresh Homemade Ricotta Cheese
May 17, 2018 by

I had the delightful treat to be in Judy Zeidler’s kitchen last week when she made fresh homemade ricotta chesse. Growing up, ricotta was a staple in our Sephardic kitchen. Used in recipes such as our quajados and served with olive oil with home made bread…..ricotta, with it’s velvety smooth texture is a certain favorite. I was tickled when Judy told us she was making it for us!

With her permission, I’m printing her recipe today in hopes that you might include it in your Shavuot menu.
